The images below are some examples of recent projects involving painting and animation. In these pieces the original videotaped performances are broken into individual frames, each frame is painted, and then the paintings are animated. The individual paintings and the animation are then exhibited together, juxtaposing two representations of a single event: one organized spatially in a grid, and the other temporally in a real-time animation.
